Minutes of the 2nd meeting of the SEC

 

Association meet the P&AR Secretary on 29 March

Office bearers of WBCS (Executive) Officers' Association met Shri Indivar Pandey, Secretary, P&AR Department, on 29 March 2012 in his office according to a pre-fixed schedule. General Secretary Shri Sourav Chaki submitted a memorandum to him and explained the issues contained therein. He also placed two separate lists of the member officers concerning posting of spouces at different and far off places and those aged 58 years or more serving in distant districts. The Secretary, P&AR Department assured to resolve soon the matter of spouce posting. He however was more keen to transfer the aged officers at the places of their choice except home districts.
Shri Pandey proposed for a draft transfer and posting policy from the Association. He also assured the Association to look into the remaining matters. Shri Debasish Maiti, Shri Jayanta Kr Basu, Shri Bhishmadeb Dasgupta and Shri Saikat Asraf Ali were the other office bearers who took part in the deputation.

Minutes of the 1st Meeting of the State Executive Committee for the Year 2012-2013

 

1st Meeting of the SEC held on 10-3-2012

The first meeting of the newly elected State Executive Committee was held in the SUDA Conference Hall on 10 March 2012. The meeting was presided over by Shri Debashish Maity, President of the Association. The DEC secretaries and members present reported about the current status of the Association. They also took part along with the SEC members in various matters taken up in the meeting.

AGM 2012 Marked A New Beginning

Many of them suggested for a consensus once again in the formation of the State Executive Committee. Some of them expressed concern publicly that an election would cause discord among the members and that most of them would stay away. But they proved themselves wrong, as it was admitted by Shri Niloy Ghosh, outgoing President of the Association, in his concluding speech in the gathering of 781 members which was an all-time record for any Annual General meeting except the occurrence of the unified organization in 2001.
